Hot Springs State Park features 6.2 miles of hiking trails and universally accessible trails, along with its free bath house with water maintained at perfect therapeutic bathing temperature of 104 degrees. The full-service park also contains a boat ramp, fishing opportunities, a volksmarch trail, comfort stations, and group picnic shelters that can be reserved. Hot Springs State Park is a day-use park, so no camping is available. Besides the hot springs, many people come to the park to see the bison, including the chance to see them up-close during their feeding time in the morning.
