Legend Rock State Petroglyph Site is around a four-hundred-meter site in length near a vertical cliff with over ninety-two prehistoric panels and more than three hundred petroglyph figures. While the Legend Rock State Petroglyph Site may not be promoted extensively, Legend Rock is already a petroglyph site renowned worldwide and is one of the region’s sacred sites for Native Americans for thousands of years. The Legend Rock State Petroglyph Site now has a picnic shelter, interpretive trails, and a visitor center. The site is one of the Wyoming State Parks system’s most fragile sites.
