Edness Kimball Wilkins Park is only six miles away from the city of Casper, Wyoming and is well known for being a perfect destination for a picnic. Numerous cottonwood trees provide shade for more than forty picnic spot, many of which are just a short distance from the park’s swimming pond. Horseshoe pits and volleyball nets welcome picnickers to play some games. There is also a 2.8-mile trails that travels along the historic North Platte River, offering a good opportunity to enjoy the scenery.
