Review:

Upstream Brewing Company was Omaha’s original brewpub when it opened in 1996, founded by Brian Magee. The brewery has been the recipient of a number of Best of Omaha awards, including awards as the city’s top microbrewery, favorite brewpub, and best restaurant bowl of soup. Classic ales and lagers produced on site include the company’s Capitol Premium Pale Ale, O! Gold Light Lager, Firehouse Red Lager, Flagship IPA, and Dundee Export Scotch Ale.

A variety of rotating cask-conditioned ales are also tapped periodically. Brunch, lunch, dinner, and late night menus are offered, featuring thin-crust pizzas, hand-cut steaks, and a variety of burgers and shareable bar appetizer plates. Three billiard tables are also offered on site for guest entertainment. Upstream Brewing Company was Omaha’s original brewpub when it opened in 1996.
