Surrounded by the Chattahoochee National Forest and rural countryside, James H. Floyd State Park is a quiet state park within northwestern Georgia that offers a peaceful camping experience and excellent opportunities for fishing on two well stocked lakes. Four camping cottages and a small campground are situated on the park’s tree-covered hillsides.

James H. Floyd State Park also features a playground for children, a boardwalk along the lake from which visitors can feed ducks, swings for relaxing, and pedal boats available for rental. Hiking enthusiasts will find three miles of loop trails along the lake as well.
