Old Homosassa is one of the original fishing towns of Florida, a place that few places can match when it comes to giving a true Gulf Coast feeling.

Boaters, paddlers, and manatees can often be seen cruising through the water heading towards the Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park.

The Homosassa Spring is the centerpiece of the amazing park, a springs that attracts people, a variety of fish, and manatees to its waters. Visitors can also get a look underwater without the need to get wet at the Fishbowl Observatory or swim with manatees at Blue Waters.
