Part of the famous Florida Keys, Key Largo is thought of as the “Dive Capital of the World,” and is the first of the Keys. The key is also the home of the largest artificial reef in the world, the African Queen, the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, and the USS Spiegel Grove, which measures a total of 510 feet.
Key Largo is also only a short trip from the Everglades National Park, making it possible to combine the two during a day trip. Visitors can take a ride on a glass-bottom boat and enjoy snorkeling and diving.
