Blue Spring State Park (Video) is home to the Blue Spring, which provides 72-degree refreshing waters that welcome visitors along the area’s St. Johns River. Established in 1927, the park is home to a large number of manatees. Along with these many manatees, there are abundant fish within the spring run, which attract an array of wading birds, kingfishers, eagles, and ospreys.

To explore the many wonders of the Blue Spring State Park, visitors can take a hike along the Pine Island Trail, which extends 4.5 miles, or by the spring run. River boat cruises, kayaking, and canoeing are available as well.
