The designated Florida Archaeological Site the home sits on has been recognized by the Florida Bureau of Folklife for its significance to the region's indigenous history. Since 2004, the home has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is also listed on the Volusia County Register of Historic Places for its significance to Central Florida's history. Free living history home tours are offered throughout the week by the Stockton-Lindquist House Foundation for Historic Preservation, showcasing the home's interior and exterior.
