Supported by raving reviews in Zagat and other reputable review sites, Louie’s Backyard has become a favorite among locals and tourists to enjoy a romantic meal with oceanfront views. The restaurant first opened in 1971 when Louie Signorelli’s oceanfront Victorian home converted into Louie’s Backyard restaurant. The dining establishment renovated the entire building over the years and has become listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Chef Doug Shook has served as the head of the kitchen for 30 years developing delicious Caribbean-American dishes. Louie’s Backyard opens for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch and also has a cafe open in the evenings.
