Chef John Correa opened Cafe Sole with his wife Judy in 1995. The delectable menu showcases Chef Correa’s background in French cooking in combination with locally-sourced fresh seafood. Diners who don’t eat meat will have plenty of options as Cafe Sole has a dedicated vegetarian menu. That won’t exclude meat-lovers either as the kitchen serves up bacon-wrapped dates, conch carpaccio, crab cakes, grilled shrimp, and other protein-packed plates. The dessert menu will satisfy any sweet tooth with mouth-watering treats including, of course, Key lime pie. The off-the-beaten-path establishment has won many awards including a vote as the best food in the Florida Keys by Zagat Magazine.
