The City of Rochester Public Market is a city-run market that has a large showing of vendors every single week. The market runs on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, with vendors that offer everything from fresh produce to specialty items to general merchandise. The market is incredibly popular, especially on Saturdays, so parking can be a bit challenging.

It is recommended that you either cycle, walk, or carpool to the market. In addition to vendors, independent businesses participate by putting up food stands, selling flowers, and offering coffee. What makes this an amazing public market is that they even cater to those who are on food stamp benefits, as they provide tokens to those who want to buy from the vendors.
