The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra has been providing the Rochester NY community with educating, inspiring, and engaging music since its founding in 1922. The orchestra maintains artistic excellence through its high standards, and it has committed fully to the music education of the local community. The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra puts on no less than 130 concerts per year, which are ticketed events, and it serves almost 150,000 people annually. In order to spread the art of music, the concerts are always rebroadcast on a local FM channel for those who were not able to attend.
