Located on Girard Park Drive, the Paul and Lulu Hilliard University Art Museum is the art museum for the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and one of the top Lafayette attractions. Established in 1964, the museum is named after Paul and Lulu Hilliard, the major donors for the construction of the museum’s home, a 33,000 square foot facility that features more than 11,000 square feet of exhibition space.

The museum’s collection consists of more than 4,000 art objects from the 18th to 21st century, including works of art from America, Asia, and Europe. Other collections include ancient Egyptian art, folk art, Japanese wood block prints, and works by local Louisiana artists.
