PES Studios is a unique hub for multidisciplinary creativity, housed on a three-level space in Newark connected to the city's Penn Station transit hub. The project, which is part of the New York City-based Project for Empty Space nonprofit organization, was founded in 2012 as a pop-up exhibition, transforming otherwise-empty office spaces into contemporary art venues.
