The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum documents the history of race car driving in Indiana. Regarded as one of the racing capitals of the world, Indianapolis is the site of several major racing events, including the Grand Prix of Indianapolis and the Indy 500. Non-racing events are held at the track throughout the year, and visitors can purchase tickets to all track events online.

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum also hosts on-track experiences where visitors can have the opportunity to drive an Indy 500 race car. Grounds tours are available for guests who want to get a first-hand look at the Hall of Fame Museum, the track media center, and other areas.
