The Gainbridge Fieldhouse was built to handle all types of large-scale public and private events. The stadium is mainly used for basketball games involving the Indiana Pacers. Opened in 1999, the stadium was originally called the Conseco Fieldhouse but the name was changed in 2011.

Outside of basketball, the stadium hosts concerts, wrestling competitions, ice hockey games, and other entertaining events. At peak times, the stadium houses 60+ concession stands, so visitors have all manner of food to choose from during intermissions. There is room for more than 20,000 fans in the Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
