The Indiana War Memorials Foundation oversees Indiana's war-related monuments and museums. It is responsible for managing Memorial Plaza Historic District, a World War I memorial erected in downtown Indianapolis. Built in 1920, Memorial Plaza features an impressive tower along with several statues of war heroes from the Hoosier state.

There are several well-maintained lawns around the memorial as well as sitting areas for visitors. The foundation also oversees the Indiana War Memorial Museum, a 30,000-square-foot facility that boasts relics from the Revolutionary War up to present-day battles. Indiana's role in World War I, World War II, the Civil War, and other key conflicts is highlighted throughout the museum.
