The Alabama Aquarium at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab draws the visitor’s attention to the four key habitats of coastal Alabama. The Dauphin Island attraction features a 7,000-gallon sting ray touch pool, a 10,000-square foot exhibit hall, and the Living Marsh Boardwalk.

In total, the facility boasts 31 aquariums that hold more than 30,000 gallons of water and over 100 species. Both the visual and interactive exhibits are intended to leave the guest with a broader understanding of Mobile Bay. Indeed, Mobile Bay is one of the country’s largest estuarine systems. More info
