Review & FAQ:
The Tennessee Aquarium is a non-profit aquarium in Chattanooga. The aquarium is made up of two buildings. The first building, River Journey, was the original structure of the aquarium, and its 130,000 square feet made it the largest freshwater aquarium in the world when it opened. Its exhibits are devoted to river fish and animals. The other, newer building is called Ocean Journey and is devoted to sea creatures. In addition to the two exhibit halls, the Tennessee Aquarium also operates an off-site boat tour of the Tennessee River and an IMAX 3D theater.
