Review:
Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the most visited of America's National Parks and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Great Smoky Mountains are part of the Blue Ridge Mountains, which are a part of the Appalachian Mountain Range.
The park is on the border of North Carolina and Tennessee and is well known for its beautiful natural scenery and biodiversity. It is not uncommon to encounter wild black bear in the park, and elk sightings have been increasingly more frequent. Hiking trails abound, and with 850 miles of trails, hikers will never get bored. Appalachian historic buildings are preserved at Cades Cove, which is the most frequently visited location in the park.
