Review:

The Lotz House Museum is a building and former home in Franklin. Today it is a museum and listed on the U.S. National Registry of Historic Places. The home played a historic role in the Civil War, surviving the Battle of Franklin and also serving as a military field hospital. The Lotz family consisted of artists who produced both fine art and handmade furniture.

Many of these historic furnishings are on display in the museum, including antiques, family heirlooms, fine art, and more. Individual as well as group and student tours are available, and there is a gift shop on premises. The house is located near the Carter house as well as the Franklin Battlefield, which make it an ideal tourist attraction.
