Located along the southern coast of Vancouver Island, Sandcut Beach is one of string of remote and beautiful beaches which are well worth a visit. The beach is backed by sandstone cliffs which boast several little waterfalls which drop down to shallow pools on the beach. Although this is a rather rocky beach and not really suited to sun bathing, it is a beautiful place to hike along the coastline. You need to hike (a short and relatively easy hike for all ages) from the parking area to the beach. At low tide you can walk behind the waterfalls for a completely different perspective.
