Nature lovers will love the rugged coastal wilderness that makes up the Cape Scott Provincial Park on the northwestern tip of Vancouver Island. Stretching from Shushartie Bay in the east to St. Josef Bay in the west, Cape Scott Park boasts more than 115km of ocean frontage and includes pristine salt marshes, jagged headlands, many rocky promontories and several spectacular remote beaches which you will often have all to yourself. The most popular of these is Nels Bight, a very wide and long beach which attracts many campers. Hiking, swimming, kayaking, canoeing and fishing are the most popular activities for nature lovers to enjoy.
