Review:

The San Gabriel Mountains National Monument encompasses almost 350,000 acres of extremely biodiverse land across both the Angeles National Forest and the San Bernardino National Forest.

The monument is an excellent location for plenty of recreational activities, including hiking, horseback riding, off-road vehicle use, and hang-gliding.

Visitors can also go hunting or fishing during certain seasons if they obtain the correct permits.

The educational Mount Baldy Center right next to the monument is also open to visitors and includes a 1920s schoolhouse as well as reproductions of a gold-mining camp and a Native American village.
