Skofield Parkis a 35-acre open space and natural preserve in Santa Barbara County, located adjacent to Rattlesnake Canyon Park at the foothills of the Santa Ynez Mountains. The park is housed on land formerly belonging to New York socialite Ray Skofield and was used as a site for the Los Rancheros Vistadores men's horseback riding camp in the 1930s. Since 1954, the land has been open to the public as an urban park, offering opportunities for walking, hiking, and wildlife watching. A nature path is offered at the park, along with beautiful oak groves and day-use picnic sites.
