Sunset Beach, which is frequently referred to as Sunset County Beach to avoid confusion with the town of the same name, is a spacious sandy beachfront in Huntington Beach, located approximately two blocks west of the Pacific Coast Highway at the intersection of Warner Avenue and Anderson Street. The beach is an excellent spot for surfing and kiteboarding during windy weather conditions, with ample space for sunbathers to stretch out and relax during sunny summer months. Beach volleyball is also popular at the beach, which is home to a children's play areas and other amenities at its grassy beach park.

Visitors should note that the adjacent Surfside Beach, located along the beach's northern end, is a private beachfront for residents of the city of Seal Beach. Free parking is available for visitors along Pacific Avenue.
