Dana Strand Beach, also known as Salt Creek Beach Park, is a delightful county-operated beach within Dana Point, located near the gated housing community known as The Strand. The beachfront is flanked by gorgeous beachfront and hillside homes near the Dana Point Headlands, accessible via Selva Road and the Pacific Coast Highway.
Surfing and tidepooling are popular water activities throughout the year, with ample space offered for stretching out on the beach's sands and sunbathing.
A boardwalk is offered for easy access between the beach's northern and southern areas, with tram service available for those with mobility concerns. Restrooms and showers are available for visitor use, with lifeguards staffed on duty throughout the summer months.
