The Pruneyard Shopping Center is an open-air shopping mall in Campbell, located along State Route 17. It was constructed by Fred Sahadi in the 1960s as a mixed-use development located on the site of the former Brynteson Ranch, opened to the public in 1970. Today, it is operated by Fortress Investment Group, LLC and Ellis Partners and serves as one of the region's most upscale shopping center, spanning an area of 250,000 square feet. Retailers located within the center include niche grocer Trader Joe's, home goods stores Marshalls and Books Inc., and a variety of health and beauty services. First-run films are offered with in-seat dining experiences at the Pruneyard Cinemas and Cedar Room, and luxury accommodations are offered at DoubleTree by Hilton. A wide variety of dining options are also offered, including Buca di Beppo, Rock Bottom Brewery, and farm-to-table restaurant Orchard City Kitchen.
