With a collection of more than 12,000 artifacts, this museum has the largest public set of art in Latin America. The museum boasts 24 exhibition halls with works from artists such as Van Gogh, Picasso, Degas and other masters. The Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes is also known for its knowledgeable and helpful staff and volunteers. Admission to the National Museum is always free for locals and visitors alike.
