Known locally as the Jardin Botanico, these lovely gardens are home to many different kinds of plants. The 17-acre garden contains more than 1,500 species of plants from Asia, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and America.
There is also a special area filled with plants from different Argentine provinces. The plants are cared for in five different greenhouses, which are also used as research centers by local conservationists. The Buenos Aires Botanical Gardens are open year round to the public.
