Review & FAQ:
The Cape Cod Rail Trail is an immaculate paved pathway that winds its way along a former railroad through several towns. Stretching for 22 miles, the paved trail is perfect for cycling and has a broad, unpaved shoulder on one side for walkers, runners, and horseback riders.
The trail offers many opportunities to explore the surrounding areas and provides access to various beaches as well as food and water facilities and plenty of rest stops. Nickerson State Park, Salt Pond Visitors Center at Cape Cod National Seashore, and the National Seashore Headquarters are along the way and have public restrooms. Bike rentals are available along the route.
