Review:

San Juan Museum Historical Society and Museum is located on the former James King farm which was homesteaded in the 1880s. The museum complex includes the original farmhouse, root cellar, carriage house, milk house, the first San Juan County jail, a barn, a pioneer log cabin and resource center.

The San Juan Museum Historical Society and Museum is managed by the San Juan historical Society, which also maintains a large collection of historic artifacts, photographs and documents on the history of San Juan Island. The society organizes the annual 4th of July Pig War Picnic, Island Rec's "Music on the Lawn Summer Concert Series” and the Old-Fashioned Christmas Celebration.
