Review:

The Temple of the Tooth, which in Sri Lanka is called Sri Dalada Maligawa, is located in Kandy, Sri Lanka, inside a palace complex with elaborate golden roofs that was once the royal palace of the Sinhala monarchy. The Temple of the Tooth is home to the most sacred Buddhist relic in all of Sri Lanka – the tooth of the Buddha. Kandy, with its long history and beautiful architecture, is a UNESCO World Heritage City, and visitors flock to it, particularly Buddhist pilgrims, to see the Temple of the Tooth. The tooth itself is housed in an ornate golden casket, and visitors can see it during puja, or times of offering and prayer.
