Review:

Luomus is the blanket name for The Finnish Museum of Natural History, which comprises three separate venues in Helsinki: The Natural History Museum, the Kaisaniemi Botanical Gardens, and the Kumpula Botanical Garden. At the Natural History Museum, you can go on a journey back to the beginnings of life at the History of Life exhibit before moving on to the fascinating Story of the Bones exhibit, which will teach you all about the origins of vertebrates. The museum boasts several other permanent collections as well as a regular calendar of visiting exhibitions. To get the most out of your visit you can join a guided tour or explore at your own pace with an audio-guide. Plant and garden lovers should not miss touring the two botanical gardens to round off your experience of Finnish natural history.
