The Planetario de Madrid offers projections, workshops, exhibitions, and a number of activities, such as stargazing, that take visitors on an adventure in unraveling the cosmos’ wonders and mysteries. Reopened in 2017 after a major refurbishment, the Madrid Planetarium now features state-of-the-art technology that includes powerful astronomy software and a high quality, modern screen system, as well as new exhibition areas. In addition to its regular planetarium shows, there are several activities and fun shows for children. Guests can also view the night sky in real time within the middle of the city thanks to the planetarium’s Megastar-2 projector.
