In NoƔin, 7 km outside Pamplona, is a 25000 square meter park that has been designed to appeal to all five senses of sight, sound, smell, taste and touch. There is an 800 m self-guided tour that takes in all these sensations. The English, French, Japanese, Mediterranean and edible gardens all radiate out from a central pond and fountains. The park was established in 2006, according to ecological principles. Thirty tree species, 95 shrubs, 70 perennials and countless annuals attract and sustain birds, butterflies and other beneficial insects. The park hosts classes for the public and professionals, and welcomes school groups of all ages.
