The Moorings offers motel and apartment accommodations that are self-catering and stylish. The 14 studio units have great views of Lake Wanaka as well as Mount Aspiring National Park. They also have queen or king beds, kitchenettes, fridges, double hotplates, microwaves, full bathrooms with showers and tubs, SkyTV, sofa chairs, private patios or balconies, and underfloor heating. You can also opt for an interconnecting room. The apartments have separate bedrooms, generous living rooms, and full kitchens along with partial mountain and lake views and outdoor decks with BBQs and furniture.
All apartments also have irons, ironing boards, Sky TV, lounge areas, dining areas, electric blankets, log burners, and full bathrooms. The apartments can have two or three bedrooms. Two-bedroom apartments feature two queen-size beds and a single bed while three-bedroom apartments have a queen and four single beds or two queens and two single beds. Some also feature sofa beds in the lounge space. Guests are welcome to enjoy wireless internet by the reception area. There is a ski drying room on-site as well as guest laundry. Guests can request a continental breakfast for convenience in the morning.
