This commercial fishing museum is dedicated to the history of the quest for cod in the icy waters off the shores of Newfoundland. Visitors will learn about the life of Saint-Malo’s fishermen while they stayed on the fishing trawlers and the techniques used by the crew to bring home a sizable catch. Musee Des Terre-Neuvas guests can tour the facility on their own or pay for the services of a knowledgeable guide to enhance their experience. The museum is only open on certain afternoons, but group tours can be arranged outside these times.
