Isla Mujeres is an island off the coast of Mexico in the Caribbean Sea near Cancun. The island is known for its beautiful beaches and stunning resort hotels and is destination for scuba diving and snorkeling due to the abundance of coral reefs. The island's southern tip is home to a lighthouse as well as Mayan remains and a sea turtle rehabilitation center and sanctuary. Some of the must-dos on Isla Mujeres include snorkeling or diving the El Farito reef, touring the Isla County National Park, swimming with whale sharks or dolphins, ziplining, and checking out the underwater sculptures in the area near the Manchones Reef.
