Kerrville -Schreiner Park is a popular 517-acre recreational area on the Guadalupe River in Kerrville, Texas. It is the busiest park in the city, with a range of facilities such as playground for kids, butterfly garden, basketball and sand volleyball courts and seven and half miles of hiking and biking trails. There is an easy access to the river where visitors can rent kayaks and canoes, go fishing or have a picnic on one of many picnic areas that have standing grills. The park also offers a range of camping options including tent spaces, cabins and even a house. Within the park are the Recreation Hall and the Dining Hall. The park is home to plenty of wildlife such as white-tailed deer, blackbuck, axis deer, rabbits, fox, birds, and butterflies.
