Cherokee Village Resort is a nature center and waterfront lodge at Lake Whitney.

It sits in shade from a protected cove that is heavily wooded and gives guests easy access to Lake Whitney, which has 23,500 surface acres and 225 miles of shoreline.

The cottages and cabins are newly rebuilt and perfect for relaxing with their home-style décor, air conditioning, quality bedding, TVs with gaming ports, Wi-Fi, and fully-equipped kitchens with microwaves, stoves, ovens, microwaves, and fridges.

There are eight newly-renovated rooms close to the Pavilion or three private multi-room cottages plus a two-bedroom, two-bath house featuring a large kitchen and breezeway leading to the Pavilion.

The cottages can sleep six or seven guests while the Pavilion House sleeps nine. The Village has eight units, each sleeping up to four. Or you can stay on one of the six RV sites.

Cherokee Village Resort features native vegetation in its landscaping and has incorporated natural safe havens for wildlife within the landscape, complete with food and watering stations.

The terrain has also been enhanced to include elements that attract birds, butterflies, and other wildlife.

The property is only available for guests, giving you plenty of privacy.

Guests can fish, enjoy wildlife, canoe, walk on nature trails, or play on the playground.
