The San Marcos River is the closet river to Austin that allows recreational tubing, and Texas State Tubes prides itself on providing an affordable and hassle-free service for anyone interested in enjoying a day on the river. The company offers parking lots at both the beginning and end of the float, and a one-way shuttle service is provided so that customers can easily get to and from their vehicles. Private float trips are available for groups of at least 10 people, but the company also offers public beatbox floats. Both types of float take approximately 3 hours.
