Review & Frequenly Asked Questions:

Located on the shore of South Carolina’s Hartwell Lake, Springfield Campground is one of the most visited recreational areas and campgrounds in the state. The lake reaches into both South Carolina and Georgia and has a shoreline that is 962 miles long. Visitors are welcome to camp within the thickly forested lake shore, which is filled with pine trees. There are so many things to see and do while in the park, including exploring the many coves and inlets, fishing for largemouth bass, catfish, or other species, and looking out for birds that consider the campground home, such as waterfowl, peregrine falcons, and bald eagles. Other popular activities are motor boating, canoeing, sailing, and swimming in the designated areas.
