From the designated parking area, visitors will have to walk a quarter mile along the scenic Chattooga River to get to the campgrounds. The gravel surface makes it an extremely easy hike and is the perfect place for first-time campers. Facilities at the riverside campground include picnic tables, fire rings, lantern posts, and pit toilets. While there, you should definitely take the time to walk to the picturesque King Creek Falls Trail or the Foothills Trail.
