Pilgrim’s Inn is ideal for relaxation or romance with views of the picturesque Northwest Harbor. The building actually dates back to 1793, but has been restored and maintained to become part of the National Register of Historic Places. There are 12 rooms along with three cottages to choose from. The rooms all have private bathrooms with natural bath products, historical décor, air conditioning, hair dryers, bathrobes, and fine linens.
There is free wireless internet throughout the property along with a guest computer and a guest phone line. Guests can relax on an Adirondack chair beside the property’s tranquil mill pond or in the game room, with its cable TV and board games or the library, which is packed with books. The daily breakfast is a gourmet affair that begins with local and freshly brewed coffee, homemade pastries, and the hot entrée, which varies and can be something such as applewood-smoked bacon or Maine blueberry pancakes. There are also lighter breakfast choices if you need to get moving early. A dinner menu is also available. Throughout the day, you can help yourself to beverages, homemade cookies, and fresh fruit.
