The Kendall Tavern Inn Bed And Breakfast was built during the early 1800s and has been hosting travelers on and off for nearly 200 years. It is in a historic residential area that is pleasant and quiet yet just a short walk to the Freeport Village. Each room has new flat-screen TVs along with streaming video and DVDs, an en suite bathroom, high-speed wireless internet, and climate controls. Some rooms also have room for up to four people, extra windows, and/or four-poster beds.
You can relax outside on the New England-style porch filled with Adirondack chairs or in the back patio with its umbrellas and tables. Inside, relax in the living room or library by the fireplaces. The daily breakfast always features assorted juices, tea, coffee, freshly baked treats, fruit, and a sweet or savory entrée. The inn can accommodate dietary needs with advance notice and there are alternative breakfasts available, including plain scrambled eggs, plain French toast, and cold or hot cereal. Visit the library in the afternoon and evening to get homemade treats or cookies or the coffee and tea that is available at all hours.
