The Primrose Inn is designed for romance and is only several blocks from downtown Bar Harbor, giving you easy access to local attractions, including restaurants. The building was constructed in 1878 and has an updated Victorian style featuring modern amenities mixed with select antiques. Every room has a private ensuite bathroom, central air conditioning, a flat-panel TV with DVD player, free wireless internet, vintage alarm clocks, hair dryers, cozy quilts, ceiling fans, phones with free local calls, 100 percent cotton linens, and Turkish towels.

Many also have private porches or balconies, sitting rooms, spa tubs, or gas fireplaces. Guests have access to a DVD library, a computer and printer, reserved parking, Kindles, and an ice machine. There Garmin GPS devices available to borrow, and you also have access to a guest wine chiller.
