Mira Monte Inn Bed and Breakfast is just several blocks from downtown Bar Harbor and very close to Acadia National Park. The inn shows off its mid-Victorian charm, and every room has antiques, period furnishings, and a balcony and/or fireplace. There are thirteen guest rooms in the Main Inn with free wireless internet, TVs and DVD players, private ensuite baths, air conditioning, phones with voice mail, clock radio/CD players, hair dryers, irons, and heating. Some also have whirlpool tubs.
There are four Mira Monte Inn Suites with similar amenities plus double whirlpool tubs, fireplaces, kitchenettes or kitchens, and bath robes. There are also three suites in the Ashe Cottage with the same amenities as those in the Main Inn.
The inn has extensive gardens complete with seating areas, bocce balls, and croquet for guests to enjoy. The grounds cover two acres of land so there is plenty to explore, and you can always find ample parking. In the morning, you can enjoy a full breakfast buffet with the choice of eating in your room, on the breakfast porch, on the terrace, or in the formal dining room. The buffet includes fresh hot food, homemade bread, fruit, pastries, and more.
