Five Gables Inn is on a hillside framed by gardens, giving guests gorgeous views of Linekin Bay. The coastal inn was built in 1896 and has a nice and quiet ambience. There are sixteen guest rooms, and all but one have views of the bay. Five of them have working fireplaces as well and every room has an ensuite private bath, a king or queen bed, complimentary wireless internet, a hair dryer, and a telephone.
Some also have daybeds, packed bookshelves, tubs, wicker furniture, and/or window seats. Relax by the fireplace in the living room or go outside and sit in one of the rocking chairs on the porch. You can go swimming right off the dock in front of the inn, and there are plenty of beach chairs and towels to borrow. The day begins with a breakfast buffet, and in the afternoon, you can enjoy sweets and tea. The buffet always has a hot entrée, fresh fruit, Muesli, granola, homemade bread, and a fresh baked treat. During the day, you only have to go a few minutes to find spots to hike, shop, fish, boat, play tennis, or play golf.
